This Coins FAQ (frequently asked questions) is intended to help reduce the number of repetitious questions that appear on the Coins mailing list. It will hopefully help new subscribers; it will hopefully help Coins members who will not need to read the same questions over and over again; it will hopefully help everyone by reducing bandwidth/email overload.
In some cases, this document will tell the reader where to find information. When possible, this document will only point to an address, another document, FAQ or list member expert--that may have the needed information. This reduces duplicated work; and it increases the chances of finding the most current, reliable information.
This FAQ is purely a volunteer effort. Although every effort has been made to insure that answers are as accurate as possible, no guarantee is implied or intended. The editor and contributors have developed this FAQ as a service to the subscribers. We hope you find it useful.
There aren't many rules on the Coins List, but there are some. I'm open to change if the list members feel some policy is inappropriate.
