Started Collecting: In 1947 my mother had a leather pouch of old noncirculating coins such as Barber dimes, Indian cents, etc. Carried a Stone Mountain half as a lucky piece while growing up. Mother still has the coins. Saw prices in Blue Book at hobby shop while admiring model airplane kits. Hooked on life long treasure hunt.
Presently Collect: All U.S. and Canadian coins with special emphasis on U.S. Morgan and Peace dollar die varieties.
